Product Description

The sturdy metal potholder loom hasn't changed much over the years... kids still enjoy weaving potholders as presents for parents and grandparents. Ages 4+ with a little help. And don't forget the loops. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD-Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.

Customer Reviews

I even did research to find less expensive loops and it does not exist.
Gail D. Carrero
I thought my great granddaughter was old enough (5) to start learning how to make pot holders and I was right.
Jan Garner
My 9 year old has trouble with the finishing stitches but other than that it's great.

I ordered a bag of refill loops for the potholder loom and the cost was $10.02. I had no idea that this bag would make only one potholder. What a rip-off for something educational. I purchased this for my granddaughter, but did not expect the potholders to cost me $10.00 each. Way, Way, Way, too expensive!

I take fully responsibility for not reading the fine print on this item. However, the seller should be ashamed for selling the materials for one potholder for so much money. My son was very disappointed when he realized he'd wasted his money. Also, the picture show primary colors and we received pinks and purples. Not very exciting to a 9 year-old boy. Complete disappointment.

I suspect that the price of this item is directly related to the fact that the loops are cotton. Cotton will make a much nicer finished product than the manmade fiber loops offered elsewhere. If a child is making the potholders as a gift for a mom or grandma who will really use and appreciate the gift, then the price is less of an issue. If this purpose of creating a potholder is to keep a child busy, then this is a ridiculous price by most any standard.

Its been decades since I purchased loops, and I cant believe how pricey this item is. I even did research to find less expensive loops and it does not exist. Its great if you want to make homemade potholders and be creative, however if 'money' is a factor it is cheaper to purchase them already made.

I gave this to my nephew (age 5) for Christmas. The loops are thick and have a nice amount of stretch.

bought the deluxe metal Loom kit for my son. I also purchased a package of the refill loops thinking it would make at least 2 potholders. What a disappointment when it was only one potholder. That's way too expensive. I'll be checking out Michaels or AC Moore for the refills.

Great for developing patience, dexterity and quick sense of reward. Sometimes the old toys are still beneficial and at least breaks them away from the computer screen.

Pack was sort of small.I would look around for a different one.I think the may go by weight so check that before you buy.Aside for that making the pot holders is really fun,so far a 9 yr old girl and a 49 yr old lady have made them and you can't tell them apart.Fun.
