Crazy Good Read,
By Marco (British Columbia Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Loose Ends: A Jack Taggart Mystery (Mass Market Paperback)
I did not know what to expect when I began reading this novel, but about 10 pages in I knew I was not going to be able to put it down. What a gritty and tense story. The characters are very well written and have a certain human feel to them, as if I know them out side of the novel. I recomend this book to anyone who is looking for a great read, but I warn you to not start unless you have an afternoon off as you will not be able to put it down! I can also see this turned into a super movie!!

Great Read,
By RJ Simon "Sam" (Calgary Alberta) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Loose Ends: A Jack Taggart Mystery (Mass Market Paperback)
Finally a book that brings home the bacon, it closely relates to the reality of law enforcement challenges and the brutal world of bike gangs. These criminal organizations operate almost unrestrained within the present governing laws of our "free" society. They take advantage of budget challenged police agencies and the inept liberal criminal justice system.
Easton should be applauded for his ability to blend his police experience and fiction so closely that it is hard to tell one from another. It is refreshing and the same time chilling how close the characters are to reality. They almost mirror the lives of our dedicated and the few corrupt officers of the legal and police professions, and the greedy power hungry animals that feed on the weak of our society. When I cracked the cover I was unable to put it down, I read it in its entirety! Tarantino should have a close look at this for a movie, as he would bring it to the big screen with out destroying its integrity. A great read! RJ Simon
