First, the loose leaf version is much easier to handle. Second, the first chapters are great review. I'm only through the first half of the summer semester and the chapters on immune response are very detailed. My professor is requiring the use of the book's online animations which really help. Reading coupled with the visual animations help make the subject matter easier to understand.
