Review

5-Stars! Maze continues to dress her characters in detail and in different circumstances to give these characters more depth in her newest book, Loose Rabbits Of the Rabbit Trilogy. --B. McMahon, Rabbit Chaser

My favorite book of 2010! --Jamieson Wolf, Author/Publisher

"I loved this book...it's a good reference guide to the first book and I would switch from one to the other. Very cool...a fantastic vampire series, but not for lightweight vampire fans." --L.O. Babington, Rabbit Chaser/Amazon Reviewer

It was great getting to know these characters better. Made me pull Rabbit out to re-read it before I dive into the upcoming Rabbit Legacy! I have a "silly" favorite but I feel I'd give something away. You should read it. It is SO worth the short time it takes to take in the "Loose Rabbits". Great job Ellen!

Sometimes a writer has to cut material from a book because either the book is too long or because going into detail would take away from the story. New novelist Ellen C. Maze has come across both of these scenarios in writing her novels Rabbit: Chasing Beth Rider, and Rabbit: Legacy. Not wanting to leave her characters bare, Maze continues to dress her characters in detail and in different circumstances to give these characters more depth in her newest book Loose Rabbits Of the Rabbit Trilogy. It is a wonderful companion piece to give window to the why or how her characters developed in her first two books. Loose Rabbits is a breezy, fun read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book; it added color to the characters from Chasing Rabbit and they become very clear. You begin to understand the relationships between the characters and their motivations. Though the short stories are thoroughly entertaining on their own, I decided to reread Chasing Rabbit along with Loose Rabbits using it as a guide. It worked wonderfully. I highly recommend Ellens books. They are original, imaginative and entertaining; definitely 5 stars!

Loose Rabbits of the Rabbit Trilogy, is a book of 20 short stories that wrap up little loose ends and questions you might be left with after reading Rabbit: Chasing Beth Rider and Rabbit Legacy like, what happened to Michael and Beth after the Last Assembly? There are stories about some of my other favourite Rakum too, like Javier, David Walker, Jesse Cherrie and Canaan.

Although these are shorts they are written just as wonderfully as anything Ellen C. Maze writes.

Whenever I finish one of Ellen's books I always feel like I've been on a wild ride.

I have read all of the other Rabbit books as well as The Judging and I really enjoyed getting to know the character's backgrounds and histories. Another well-written piece to the Rabbit trilogy. Way to go Ellen!
