I just read this book for the 4th time and still get chills at the end.
All of this symbolism made the book so much more interesting because it turned a survival story into a story about human nature and the struggle of good vs. evil.
There were too many long descriptions, passages where little happened and altogether the story became boring to the point where I had to rush through the pages.
