You'll want this one...,
This review is from: Lord of the Flies (Audio CD)
Nosferatu's latest release sees the band adding an extra dash of keyboards as compared to their previous album, Prince of Darkness. If you liked any of the other Nosferatu albums, you'll enjoy this one as well. Solid gothic rock with great vocals and superb orchestration!

Best Nosferatu album yet!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Lord of the Flies (Audio CD)
Lord of the Flies is easily the best Nosferatu album. Dominic's vocals are better than ever, and Rat Scabies adds the live drums that give a few songs some Gothic balls. "Witching Hour" is definitely worth the price of admission, as is the beautiful "The Tempest". I REALLY can't wait for the April release of ReVamped, their next album!

Gothic Rock & Roll,
By Crypt "thecrypt777" (Arkham) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lord of the Flies (Audio CD)
This album has what are probably some of nosferatu's best songs yet. The only problem is the production is a bit raw. It's not much of a problem I guess, but I miss that reverb drenched, slickly produced sound of their previous albums. Nosferatu have always been a Metal influencd Goth band. They cite Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath as influences, but on Lord Of The Flies they take their Metal influence farther than on any previous album. I only wish there was better production, it would definitely strengthen many of the songs here.
