1.0 out of 5 stars Severely messed up printing of a work that originally was tops, June 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My rating of "1 star" is not in any way a reflection on Warfield, the author. My 1-star rating is for this particular printing of Warfield's original book/work. If I could rate this printing a "zero-star" -- nothing -- I would gladly do so because 1-star is too high. I recently purchased a hardback copy (different printing) of this same work by Warfield, and it was about the same price and has had almost no typographical errors that I have found. THIS printing -- the paperback version -- is so riddled by typographical errors on every single page so as to render it truly nearly useless as a book. This could only have been produced by someone who injected the un-formatted words of Warfield into a computer file who then went on to output the sentences as a garbled mess. One would have to spend hours of their time literally deciphering what belongs in the main text of Warfield's work and what belongs in the footnote sections. Even if a person was willing to needlessly spend their hours that way, the numbering of the notes are hopelessly wrong and illogical. I hope you get the idea by now: this printing is worthless, and is not worth one dollar. I would imagine that the material of Warflield's book is legally free online somewhere, and I would recommend printing that out legally rather than buying this book and wasting your time and money like I did. I will be returning this book ASAP. Warfield's _Lord of Glory_ book is 5-stars, however this particular printing of Warfield's _Lord of Glory_ book is a negative 4...-4. Avoid buying this version and look for any alternative.
