This album is held in high esteem, but frankly it's overated.
Here's why: -sounds like story time in kindergarten (remember when you had to shut up and listen or stand in the corner). -the music is OK, but is meandering and never really gels. -after your perfunctory listen, you'll check it off your Krautrock list and file it away until you wonder if it was as dull as you remember and then you'll refile it again. My advice prior to purchasing is to scour the internet to hear what it sounds like and then listen to it all and then if you think I am a schmuck who doesn't know what he's talking about spend your $15 + shipping and taxes if applicable and play it to your heart's content. |
