I plan to keep copies handy to pass out in the future.

Each day was written by Kay or David, and it was interesting to see how their writing styles were different - yet, very much the same.

I truly appreciate this book. Already a Kay Arthur fan, I guess I went into this expecting it to be a helpful resource and I wasn't disappointed. I have given this book to a young lady I am decipling for her to do on her own. The index is helpful with questions many new believers - and I'm sure many seasoned believers - have about the trinity, prayer, trials, sin, etc. I plan to keep copies handy to pass out in the future. Honest, biblical answers to many commonly asked questions.

Very familiar with Kay Arthur & Precept Ministries. This book has short chapters on a variety of subjects and there is not continuity. Would be a good intro sort of Bible study, which is what we used it for. Not my favorite of her Bible studies, which I usually think are awesome.

I really, really enjoyed this book. What a refreshing way to learn about how to hear from God - and actually DO the work as you go! I appreciated that each day included an exercise (or two or three!) that you did right in the book, where you'd mark up Scripture, you'd ponder what you read, you'd look for something new compared to the day before when you may have read the same passage, and you didn't need a separate book (or Bible) to do any of this - it was part of the reading. It meant that what you read each day wasn't short, but it made it a lot easier to do. Plus, you could experiment with how you marked things and not worry that you weren't being consistent in your Bible. This study gave a lot of space to figure out the best way to mark things up before you'd be taking what you learned and started marking the pages of your favorite Bible. It was fantastic!

Each day was written by Kay or David, and it was interesting to see how their writing styles were different - yet, very much the same. It was an easy flow from day to day, even with authors changing, and their studies worked very well together. I appreciated that while the book was great for someone who has been a Christian for awhile, it also took the time to explain things that people who are newer to the faith might wonder about. While it was clearly written to be a personal study, I thought it would make a great small group book. I'd love to see how other people marked up their pages and compare their markings to mine! It's definitely a book that can help to strengthen your faith, no matter where you're at on the Christian journey. I highly recommend it!

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts and opinions expressed here are completely my own.

Great book. Our Sunday School class is on chapter 19. The lessons are easy to follow and the homework takes between 2-4 hours a week. Or, it depends on how deep you want to go into the word. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to get closer to God.
