LOTR-TRILOGY-FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING-SERIES 2- LEGOLAS

A handsome prince of Mirkwood forest, the fair Elf Legolas journeyed to the land of Imladris (Rivendell), taking part in the council of Elrond to determine the fate of the One Ring. He was chosen as one of the nine to set forth on a quest to destroy the One Ring, and his skill in battle quickly proved his necessity! He was also renown for forming an otherwise unheard-of friendship with the Dwarf Gimli.

Legolas comes dressed in the armor given him for the battle at Helm's Deep, with his bow of Lorién (complete with a stock of five arrows from Rohan), his new Rohan sword, his oh-so-cool double blade-knives, and a look of determination on his face. His long cloak is permanently attached, as are his Rohan armor, his sword-sheath, and his quiver. His Rohan sword fits nicely into the sheath that hangs at his side, and his two knives fit into sheaths on his quiver. His Elvish hair is slightly slung in front of his face, to make him look action-oriented.

His heels, his knees, his arms, his elbows and his hands all move freely to create a vast array of cool Legolas poses. (Slashing Orc with his blades, in the middle of drawing his sword, drawing an arrow from his quiver, or just standing there looking cool are some of the ones I've experimented with) His Lorién-bow has its Elvish inscription on it, and can actually shoot the arrows! Legolas's action-figure hands do not have the strength to create the "about-to-fire-an-arrow" pose, but you yourself can fire an arrow. (Just make sure you know where you're shooting, and that you won't lose the arrow!) The high-quality detail (His blades are engraved with the Elvish inscription, his arrow tips are detailed with some sort of serpent-head type carving, and his leaf-brooch, a gift from the Elves gleams on his neck) definitely makes it worth the price!

Wow! This Legolas is awesome! Yes, it only has one dagger, but it gave us all a chance to get the saught after fellowship Legolas! He looks exactly like Legolas from the movies, and he is highly detailed. Elven engravings on his biceps and his elbows have a very nice looking silver color. He has green cuffs with golden engravings on them. His hair has the exactly right color and has a blowing in the wind look. He has 3 arrows, his mirkwood bow, and his elvish dagger. For those who have read the book, you know Legolas only carried one dagger, so maybe that's why toybiz released him with only one? His dagger slashing action is very smooth and looks great. He can be posed in many poses, with 2 daggers(I stole one from my TTT Legolas), with one dagger and a bow, shooting his bow, and loading his bow. Simply my favorite Legolas figure. Also he's a pretty rare piece so get him while you can. Thanks for reading my review!

I gave him a five star rating for everything.He's durable, fun and even educational because you might just learn how to fight like a real elf when you go into your own play world of LOTR!Now, toy biz didn't make his face perfect like the later Prince Legolas figures but he's still totally cute and he's very hansome.When you hold his legs together, he has arrow launching and dagger slashing action.He doesn't come with the Lothlorien long bow and quiver with arrows like the later Legolas'.He is the Fellowship Legolas.This is based on when he has his Mirkwood weapons.This cute little wood elf is a true delight.Im surprised he's not out of stock at the moment since just about all the other new trilogy figures are and with him being Legolas too...but it might not be long before he is so grab him up and give him lots of love, or else!!!

This Legolas isn't what i thought it would be.The picture shows that it has a sword but it doesn't.His daggers aren't half as long as it shows in the picture and he doesn't have a cape. This Legolas is okay, but i would recomand that you buy the TT Legolas instead.

Because of the picture(which looks like the Two Towers Legolas, hints the sword) I am not sure which figure this is, but both the FOTR and the TT action figures are great. I personally think the TT action figure is better because of his TWO knives, armor and Rohan sword. Both fire arrows and both have slashing action, but I'm sure they just have the wrong picture. Sorry if this is a bit pointless.

To anyone who may have been wondering, this IS the original Legolas figure from Fellowship series in the new, smaller packaging that has been appearing at stores. I like the fact that Toy Biz has re-released certain figures so that those of us who missed the figures the first time now have a chance to get them. The only gripe that I have is that the original fellowship legolas had TWO daggers included where this one only has 1 (why only 1???).
Other than the missing dagger thing, the figure is of high quality, is poseable and is well worth a pick up if you missed the first run. If you want a Legolas with two daggers (plus a sword), get the Helm's Deep Legolas as that figure seems to have been released with all the accessories it originally had.

Legolas is the best action figure i've ever had. Just looking at him wants me to get him again. So hurry up and buy him.

this toy is the best on the market i thank . i would buy one of these any day . if you gave your child from 5 years of age and up they would not get bord . with all the comotion going through them and excightment they will never put it down.

I have to warn you before you put this in your "shopping cart" here that unless you keep it in a box with the rest of your lord of the rings figures like i do it will be weaponless since his knives and arrows can get misplaced. how ever the cool slashing motion can be used to pretend to take one of his knives out to slash at your orcs or to pull out an arrow and fire at an orc. remember only aim at other lord figures
