The Lord of the Rings - Return of the King: Super-Poseable Aragorn with Anduril 6" Action figure

This Aragorn figure is amazing. It is super-poseable and can be posed in many ways. Besides the intense articulation, it has even more intense detail. The clothing, armor, facial expression, and everything is just so keenly detailed. He comes with a dagger that has a sheath attached to his back. He also has a big, long sword: Anduril. It is sturdy but the paint on the sword is not great. I suggest using Metallic Sharpie to color the blade more silver (it works well). He also comes with a big cape that has pegs on it, meant to be attached to his back. The pegs don't stay in well, so I suggest leaving the cloak off the figure (to me, it looks better). Overall, this figure is excellent and the best Aragorn figure made to date, in my opinion. I'd recommend it to figure collectors and people who like to play with figures, but not to very young children because the accessories could be choking hazards.

I'm not the sort of collector who feels the need to get every single figure in a line -- I tend to get my favorite characters only, and I couldn't resist this figure. Out of the three sets of toys released with the "Lord of the Rings" films, this is the best-looking Aragorn figure yet. We get him here in his Gondorian garb that he wears for the final battle before the Black Gates of Mordor, the emblem of the White Tree upon his chest, Anduril in his hand. This is Aragorn the King.

This figure is super-posable -- a ton of articulation. Toy Biz, it seems has found the way to give us articulation without sacrificing the look of an action figure -- this is a toy that both looks great and plays great.

The only complaint I would have is that the box says that Aragorn can hold Anduril two-handed, and I haven't been able to get mine to do that -- he's quite articulated, but the arms don't bend inwards quite enough to allow that pose.

All in all, though, it's a great action figure, and a must for ROTK fans.

Thsi is the absolute best Aragorn action figure ever made!!!!! I mean he comes with ANDURIL!!! He also comes with Celeborn's Knife too. This aragorn is the most highly poseable in the Aragron line. His feet can move and arch, his torso can twist, his knees ben, his legs can move in practically any position, his arms bend and move,his wrist moves, his head can move, I mean how much more articulation can you get???This one I have to say is the most stable of all of the Aragorns, he doesn't fall over. The only problem with this Aragorn is that he doesn't have a sheath for Anduril? Whats up with that? I know Anduril is the reforged Narcil of the second age, but it needs protection.

Fans, this is the first time I've had a figure in advance of Amazon's release, but the figure I had was Aragorn with Brego horse set. And I must say that I simply have to recommend that instead. I examined the single figure of Aragorn in the store today, and while the quality is good, it simply isn't as good as the horse-and-rider set.

This single figure of Aragorn has the deluxe Gondorian armor outfit, including his Elvish dagger and Narsil, the sword of Isildur, reforged into Anduril, the Flame of the West. And once again, don't get me wrong. If you don't wanna shell out horse-and-rider bucks, that's okay. But you'll be getting a much better figure. For instance, Anduril, the awesome sword he has? It's totally BLACK in this set. The dagger is also of inferior quality - the handle is too large, making the blade look small. I believe the cloak he wears is plastic, but it was hard to tell.

His new hair do looks good on him, as do the new Gondorian duds. His face is screwed up into a battle yell...I can't decide whether that's good or bad. On one hand, you don't want him screaming the whole time you have him, but on the other hand, it makes for a great "rallying the troops" pose.

Once more, y'all, if you can afford the horse-and-rider set, you're really getting the better bargain!

This action figure is just ok. It could have been better in a lot of ways like for one aragorn's cape will never stay on. There are many points of articulation though so if u like putting your action figures in poses and then displaying them this is the right one to get. Another bad thing about this figure is WHERE DID THE ACTION GO??? this aragorn cant do anything therefore its not much of an ACTION figure. In my opinion, keep your eyes peeled and look for another aragorn unless all u want from your action figures are poses.

I just got this Aragorn figure today. I do own all the previous Aragorn figures but this one in perticular caught my attenion since he has been done perfectly everything on this figure has been done movie accurate from his wardrobe to Anduril.

This Aragorn is the only one thus far that is super posable unlike the other ones wich when you try to get them into a cool pose you hear that cracking sound that sounds like it is about to brake this one however you do not need to worry about that.

Other than his cape falling out this figure is a great buy for all LORD OF THE RINGS lovers especially all the Aragorn ones.

Aragorn is my only Aragorn so far but the best. He wears his Gondorian armor and his battle cry before the battle. I love the articulation on this figure. Top notch. I only have two complaints for this figure. 1. Anduril(the sword)bends easily and 2. The cape keeps falling off. This could be from when I took him out of the box I had too much presure or that the capes weight is not substatial to the two little pegs that go into his back. Overall, a great figure.

This Aragorn is cool for battles! This toy is a "MUST" for your collection. Aragorn's dagger in the back shealth is a little small but not flimsy. Aragorn's Anduril has no shealth but his Anduril is long and steady so it's not flimsy the other three Aragorn's I have are also with my collection of L.O.T.R. action figures and toys. I will recommend this to any L.O.T.R. fan.

This is just a superb Aragorn! My son loved it and it is so detailed. Great for the kid or collector in your house.

This is the most awesome Aragorn ever made! If you love "Lord of the Rings" this is the toy for you! It's a MUST HAVE for your collection. I compared the "Two Towers" Aragorn to this one and this one totally won. I have never seen an Aragorn like this before!
