I'm sure that you have heard that the action figure Gollum is not the best. Some claim that it is too ugly, but to anyone that has seen the movie, Gollum is not what I would call handsome! What Gollum is, though, one really neat creature and I think that Toy Biz did a REALLY good job recreating Gollum. I absolutely love the fact that Gollum is made of some sort of rubber/resin, so that he is more moveable than regular plastic. This makes it look much more like the character from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. To anyone that are Gololum fans, I'm sure that you will absolutely love this!

The Gollum Action figure is an incredible model of this so essential character. I felt that this figure mirrored the actual character just as well as P. Jackson mirrored the image of Gollum through the original Lord of the Rings trilogy. Gollum is made solely of a durable, bendible rubber, allowing a wide range of poses, and keeping durability in the picture. Unlike most "bendy" toys, you cant pull Gollum's body parts off. I would reccomend this figure to children over 10, as his detail can be somewhat frightening. Overall he is a wonderful figure to add to a Lord of the Rings figure collection.

This gollum is awesome! I bought it the minute I saw it on here. This figure is fully bendable, looks relatively close to the actual Gollum. Comes with a rock/stick to stand on and when you push the hidden rock button he speaks, "My Prrrrecccciousssss" I Love this figure and anyone who collects figures could add this and wont be disappointed.

Gollum is bendable, unlike any other toy biz lord of the rings figures. His rock, when a certain rock is pressed says "My Precious" in a rather loud voice. He is very detailed, and his hair is hardly noticable. It's just how Gollum looks in the movie. The figure is extreemely bony, and his spine juts out like he doesnt have any fat on his body. His hands and feet are really big, bony, and veiny. He looks exactly like the Gollum in the movie, and is an awesome action figure.

all together i like it its a great display peice, i have it sitting on my desk right here next to my screen. it has very good detail, such as the lash marks on his back and the veins popping out of his forehead. the base beautifuly replicates the scenes in mordor and it has great sound. the only critisism i could give is that the color of his eyes are a little off and the legs are a little difficult to pose like he did in the movie (a crouching position fo erxample). I'd say it captures that "so ugly it a little cute" look form the movie. overall, it's well worth the price in my opinion if your a fan of gollum.

This figure is SO cool. It has my precious phrases and everything! It is exactly like the movie, however there are a few defaults: the head doesn't turn and Toybiz put details into the under-loincloth area. If you have a curious kid, you might not want to get this until they are older. Anyway, this figure rocks and I can't wait until the Smeagol figure comes out!

I have never seen anything this articulated. i disagree with the people who say this is scary. It's just a toy-parents if you have the toy but your child(ren) is afraid tell him or her that it is just a toy. On [another web site] i read that a golum toy wasnt supposed to come out until september-what! september! The voice is great and this actually has replacible batteries. All in all this toy is incredible!

He is a very cool figure.He can move without joints too! He's a bendy. I wish he was smiling.....Says MY Preacious. I love him.

I love this toy! My sister has it but I like to play with it as well. He only says, "My Precious." but he's still fun. He is very bendy and if you have Frodo and Sam, the trio go great together. He has a bit of trouble standing on his own however. I give this toy 2 stars for educational value. Why? Well, unless you want to learn ONE line from the movie, he hasn't much to teach you ;)

This Gollum is very bendy and his rock's precious phrase is like the sound in the movie. His head is screwed very grumpy. Now the durability is 4 stars, his shorts are already torn up so that is why I gave the durability 4 stars.
