This game is so much fun! It is the best trivia game I have ever played. Much better that the Trivial Pursuit, I mean, who really wants to answer questions about the making of the movies! This game is all about the books, its questions really get you thinking! Some of them are easy, but others are pretty hard. Still, I have read the books many times, and I feel that if you have read them at least twice you can do pretty good.

This game was purchased as a gift for a 13 year old grandson who has seen the movies and (more importantly) read the books. He and his friends have enjoyed the game and the challange to thier knowledge of the characters and places of Middle Earth that the game presents. It provides a very good break from his video games.

This is easily the best trivia game based on Lord of the Rings, and probably one of the best trivia games in general. Content is based on the books, not the movies--so you won't find any "who played so-and-so in the films" etc. Having read the books at least once or twice is enough to give this game a go.

Questions are typically multiple choice. You also need to manage your resource tokens in order to move along the path to win the game. You choose the difficulty you want based on the resources you need. Like most LOTR games, this is a very nice looking game design and packaging. This is one trivia game I'll play any time. Biggest challenge is finding other LOTR fans to play against!

This game is so much fun. We have many games that have a Lord Of The Rings theme but this is the very best.
