J.R.R. Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings' is one of the few books that I enjoy reading and rereading.
In addition, the maps in the single edition are all printed on the same thin paper as the rest of the text and are located in the back of the book.
Tolkien had created a whole world, and the way he set this epic story in that world gave the readers the sense of that.
Great book, good price. very pleased. What more can I say, it is Lord of the Rings, a classic. You won't be disappointed.Published 23 hours ago by Mitch

The Lord of the rings. This is just plane princess from the lands of Eriador to rohan and fondle this is about as epic as books get like the movies read the book their better.Published 1 day ago by Jack Shaver
Note: the edition we got is not the one pictured by Amazon here. It was the red-covered, "mottled" edition. It was in fine condition, and we are quite pleased with it.Published 2 days ago by Peter Urkowitz
What can you say. It's the Lord of the Rings. One volume, for the Kindle. They would have had to go some to screw this up :)Published 2 days ago by Shawn B. Wikle
The book arrived in perfect shape and in a very timely manner. I could not be happier, it is made of high quality paper and the binding looks great. Read morePublished 3 days ago by Mark Andrew Rentz
A lot of the reviews seem to be for the leather bound 1991 edition, which I believe is pictured. But if you buy the book here it's in fact a re-print from 2012 of the 2002 edition. Read morePublished 4 days ago by Joshua Siegal

Nobody creates worlds like Tolkien. He is the writer that every writer aspires to be. Reviews can't possibly do Lord of the Rings justice. You simply have to read it.Published 6 days ago by Douglas R. Rosensteel
