3.0 out of 5 stars Book Good Like Author, January 7, 2011
This review is from: Lord Rivington's Lady (Paperback)
I hate when I can't find out what the description of the book is so below I put the synopsis that is on the back of the book.

I liked it well enough. I read so much that the book was somewhat predictable to me yet entertaining. The male leading character was not the nicest man in the world and the interfering cousin I wanted to smack but that's just me. The leading lady was continuously compared to her beautiful sister even told she wasn't pretty. Again I would have smacked someone. The mother played favorites and the sister was shallow I also would have smacked them for their ill treatment of the most level headed of all the family. As I read thru these kind of books during that time period it always makes me cringe at what a women was able to do in those days. I would have been put away with my strong personality, I would have been a rebel. I would call this book one of those that is worth getting if you have already gotten all the other books you wanted. I happen to buy this author in bulk so it wasn't that expensive I read it in one sitting and it did keep my attention. Hope this helps.

LORD ALEXANDER RIVINGTON WAS THE MOST HATEFUL MAN GEORGINA HAD EVER KNOWN

Georgina had every reason to detest this thoroughly impossible and egotistical male. She vowed that nothing in the world would make her join the list of victims of his charms. Indeed, Lord Rivington was due for a richly earned comeuppance - and Georgina for a most unexpected awakening...
