"Lord Teach Me To Pray" is a wonderful study by Kay Arthur that really does improve your prayer life if you follow its practical advice. This 5-week Bible study is jam-packed with tools and tips to improve your prayer life whether you're a brand-new believer or have been leading prayer groups for years. This study will refresh and enrich you and bring your prayer time to new, reachable heights!

This study was produced by Lifeway, not Precept which is Kay Arthur's publishing ministry. It is a great introduction on how Kay Arthur studies a topic using the Bible as the textbook, not with a particular viewpoint or slant, but using the inductive method, that is, discover the meaning for yourself. If you are familiar with using Kay Arthur materials, you may think that this study is too "lite", but it has a lot to offer. I did this with groups twice. It is especially good for groups who have little background in digging into scripture and thinking on their own. It is meant to be used with the DVDs. At the beginning of each week, is a page to fill in from the video. Otherwise, the work is all reading and digging on your own. If you want to just work on prayer without the video, just buy Lord Teach me to Pray in 28 days by Kay Arthur.

This Bible study gave me new insight on prayer and definitely refreshed my prayer life. Would highly recommend, along with the DVD's by Kay Arthur. Great to do with a small group or on your own!

This study is wonderful. I love to really pray and finding material to study that is truly well done and easy to digest is great. I used it for a womans group and everyone really grew as a result of using this study help.

I recommend this workbook to anyone, seasoned Bible Study veteran or beginning student! It is easy to follow, and hits the mark, spiritually!

By far, the most life changing bible study I've ever done. Kay Arthur guides and dissects the LORD's prayer to give you a better understanding what it means to pray to the One and only Sovereign LORD. Each study will transform your thoughts and challenge your understanding; bringing new life and nourishment to what Jesus really intended. This study will pierce your heart like a sword!! I recommend this for anyone interested in diving deep into scripture and taking a closer look at your own walk.

This is, hands-down, the worst Bible Study I have ever done. I have completed 16 Bible Studies and I cannot recommend this one to anybody. The author has such a critical and negative spirit throughout the entire study. Why not actually tell us the words you think are worthy in prayer instead of using the prayers of other Chrisitans as a "what not to do"! Author, do you really think that God cares if we pray to Jesus on occasion? The approach was one of "follow me if you REALLY want to be a good Christian". Personally, I believe that a constant dialogue with God is a good approach -- remember the "Pray without ceasing" part in the Bible? Why encourage prayer to be so "packaged". I need Bible study to help me be "set-apart" from this world, not "set-apart" from other Christians. That can be for you, author, and your "holier than thou" spirit. If you really want a Bible Study that will help your Spirit grow and REALLY learn about God's word and His will in your life, check out any study from Beth Moore.
