Christians beware!,
By Thomas J. Hospodar (Ohio, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lords of Eternity (Audio CD)
Next to Dimmu Borgir's PEM album, this is the black metal release of the year. It is simply a full on brutal assault. Traces of melody and keyboards exist, just enough to vary the tracks. Generally, the songs are dominated by the drums, which sound like an avalanche if full roar! Definitely not in the more "commercial" Cradle of Filth style. Highly recommended!

Austrailian Black Metal,

Can you say Satan, mate? Damaged drummer Matt Sanders, aka Nekroslayer swaps his sticks for a mic and hate-core for black metal blasphemy with his sideband Hellspawn. And though they hail from Australia, Hellspawn's epic, atmospheric caterwauling is as evil and terrifying as anything from the dark, cold forests of Scandinavia.
