Barclay had a unique gift of the ability to paint verbal portraits of Christ. In this particular text, he slowly reveals a deep understanding of the simplicity as well as the profundity of the Lord's Prayer. So often said, yet so little understood, one can read and reread this text and find the newness and beauty again and again. Special attention should be paid to the chapter..."Thy Will Be Done".

This is the best book on the Lord's prayer that I have sent and I've read quite a few. If I could get one book about the Lord's prayer I'd make it this one.
