About the Author

Daithi O hOgain, Associate Professor of Irish Folklore at University College Dublin is an international authority on folklore and traditional literature. He is the author of over forty books, which include poetry and short stories as well as studies of the Irish heroic tradition, Irish poets and poetry, family genealogy, prehistoric Irish religion, and Celtic history. Also well known as a radio and television broadcaster, his books are standard reference works.
