I'm twenty-five and have had acne since I was 13. I'd tried many different types of cleansers and even a couple prescriptions from two different doctors. I even tried diet changes. Nothing worked until I picked up this Acne Response product a couple months ago. I started seeing my skin improve within about a week, and now I've had almost perfectly clear skin for a couple weeks. I'm almost afraid to jinx it by writing this review.
Regarding some of the other reviewers' comments about the third step, it did dry my skin out a little at first, but that got better after a week or so. I do live in a very humid climate--when I traveled to a dryer area for vacation, I had to buy a different moisterizer and use it on the dryer parts of my face. Also, I think I probably have been using less of the moisterizer than recommended because it hasn't run out as fast as the cleanser or astringent. I have been able to wear it under makeup--but again, only a very thin layer, otherwise it flakes off.

I've suffered with adult acne all of my adult life. I've tried Pro-Active, but the $50+ price tag is a bit out of my budget. I tried Acne Response and now, for the first time in my life, I have clear skin! The product does create a little dryness, but a non-pore-clogging moisturizer solves the problem nicely. I'm delighted with the results and would recommend this for anyone frustrated with their skin. The added bonus is that the kit lasts for a full six-weeks, so you're not having to buy more constantly.

For a few years (I'm 43, Irish, German mix) I've been plagued with forehead and chin bumps and whiteheads. Sometimes even deep, nasty bumps. I picked up a trial size of Loreal daily (I've tried no-names which made me peel) and within a week, the acne was gone and my face is smoother. I am soooo jazzed. No peeling, but I only use it at bedtime. The lotion is really more of a mask. It does not work under make-up, it just comes up, like peeling paint. I don't use the lotion on my cheeks, just the problem areas. I've used it for two months now and no adverse reactions. I wash with the cleanser for one minute, and then rinse and use the two other products. For now, they have a loyal customer.

Oh Nooo's - It's been discontinued!?!
