This card and video management software turns your PC into a Professional Grade Surveillance System - with the ability to View, Record and Control video from any remote location via the Internet (router & broadband service required for streaming video). Insert 2 QLR0440 cards into your PC for an 8 camera surveillance solution.
Suitable for a variety of security surveillance applications:
HDD Overwrite and Watch-Dog
When you enable the HDD to overwrite when the HDD is full, it will record over the oldest video. If disabled, recording will stop when the HDD is full. When Watch-Dog is enabled, the computer will be rebooted automatically if it did not
Backup
Manual Backup: You can backup a recorded file of specific duration manually.

Reserve Backup: You can set the backup-schedule in advance.

Local and Remote Camera viewing
The QLR0440 allows you to monitor multiple locations at one time thanks to the quad processor and with the free Lorex DDNS service, you can access your cameras from any location that has hi-speed Internet access. The Graphic User Interface (GUI) is user friendly and allows complete control of all the features and benefits of this recording and monitoring solution.
Digital Video Recording
Record Digital Video onto your PC’s hard disk with MPEG-4 compression. MPEG-4 provides high quality video images with reduced file size. This extends video storage times and requires less bandwidth for remote locations.
Motion Detection
The QLR0440 system allows you to select which camera or cameras that you want to record upon detection of movement. Motion detection recording will maximize the amount of video storage on the hard drive. Also, further configuration allows you to select the specific area in which motion must be seen to trigger recording. Advanced set up allows you to activate E-mail Notification which will send an e-mail alerting the destination of your choice that movement has been detected.
Scheduled and Holiday Recording
Each camera recording may be configured to turn on and turn off when you want. The easy on-screen interface allows you to make on and off selections using your mouse. Advanced options allow you to set the record function to Automatically Overwrite previously recorded data instead of having to manually re-start recording when the hard drive is at capacity.
On selected holidays no recording will take place unless manually initiated. You can specify the holiday as desired.
Advanced Search Capabilities
Quickly find and access specific video footage from a history of recording. Search by date and time of the day to locate and retrieve video files from either the PC that you are using, or conduct the search remotely through the host PC’s recordings.
Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ)
The QLR0440 features the ability to control the mechanical movement of a PTZ (Pan, Tilt, and Zoom) dome camera using an RS-232 to RS-485 converter (not included). The PTZ camera’s movement can be controlled locally or remotely via the Internet.
Add Users, and Password Protection
The User Registration allows you to Add, Modify, and Delete User Accounts. There are 2 different User Levels to select from (User, and Power User). These User Levels allow different access within the Client Software. You as the Administrator have full access to the software. Once you active a Password for the Administrator account, unauthorized persons will not be granted access to any or parts of the Client Software. This prevents Data Tampering and/or Data Loss.
