The quality of this work in terms of pictures and material presented cannot be overstated. Beyond this, however, is the unique system of publishing "stickers" of discoveries as they become known and numbering which keep Aqualog reference works both current and valuable. Aqualog books can be seen at many tropical fish expositions and are the reference works of choice among knowledgeable aquarists.

This book is fantastic for all people who are interested in Loricads. Everyone who keeps fish from any South American Biotype should pick up this book if they want to add a little spice to thier aquaria with a cool Pleco. It will show you the most important features of each individual species; size, food, and compatibilty.

Great book, very helpfull,excellent pictures,well worth getting all the updates. Some of these plec's are amazingly colorful. A book you will pick up again and again if only to look at them. My lfs use them as well and it really help when going to buy new stock for tanks i have.Using this book has helped buying new plec's for the tanks.
