A piece of art, May 31, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Lorquiana Poemas De Federico G Lorca (Audio CD)
Listening to this record is an unforgetable experience to anybody who likes García Lorca's poetry. For the first time, the music matches his great artistic heights, thanks to the music of many of Spain's foremost popular musicians: Serrat, Victor Manuel and Kiko Veneno are just a few of them. The work of Michel Camilo as arranger deserves the highest and wildest praise, what a master he is, and what a job he's done here!! This is a masterful record, certainly one of the best in popular music in many years. Highly and warmly recomended.

Havenly Lorquianian Musical Experience, September 2, 2009
This review is from: Lorquiana Poemas De Federico G Lorca (Audio CD)
The voice of Ana Belen and the lirics of Garcia Lorca combines to embrace a near heavenly experience not often seen in the musicalization of a poet's work. Ana Belen excels her voice in a soft and romatic way that absorbs the recipient and transport him to the time and place of the music.
A must to have, a must to appreciate.
