I've been listening to the LAI music, since the very beginning of them, and everytime they bring new susprises with their music. I highly recommend this CD, and many others made by the band.

They are by far my favorite Latin band. This band overflows in energy and talent. Their live shows are unsurpassed, and this album is the closest you can get to having that experience.
The entire album is permeated by experimental, funky beats, but has definite foundations in the classic, traditional latin drums and horns. The entire album is in Spanish and although I'm not even close to being a Spanish speaker, this is in my top 5 albums list. You have to at least listen to this album, and if it grabs you, I hope you have the opportunity to see them live at least once in your lifetime.

Los Amigos Invisibles put the fun in funky in this album. It is so damn good. You can hear their unbridled enthusiasm in every note, and it is infectious. This is a great CD- and was my favorite of 2002 (yeah, it was released earlier, but it didn't come my way until 2002) There are tons of great dance tunes on it, and some goofy one offs, but it is all good.
