This is a great gift item. Easy to assemble and sturdy. Having shopped around a lot this is also a very good price relative to the other toy chests out there.

It's beautiful. I loved it when I first got it and put it together. But once the toys got in there and challenged the sides, the bolts kept coming out. It is very poorly designed. So we took it apart and use it as wall decorations. Not recommended.

Fit perfect in my yankee themed nursery, VERY good quality. Built like its going to last for many years. Worth the money in my opinon...

I purchased this Toy Chest since it was in sale and got it today and we started assembling. When we put the screws and tighten the wood cracks in several places. I don't know how many days its going to last. I dont know why people use pressed wood for this kind of piece and sell it for $[...]. This piece is not definetly worth the money. Please starting using solid wood or anything that does not crack. I love the look, but that deceives. My son loves to sit on it, but I am worried that it will break someday. By the way the Instructions for Assembly given with the product is should be much more clear and step by step.

I bought this for my grandson who lives in San Francisco, they had to put it together, took a few tools, which they had on hand. It is sturdy and very nice looking. I would recommend this product. Good value and a good deal.

I figured for over $100 I would have received something of better quality. There were minor scratches on most pieces and the graphics were slightly smudged. Nothing major enough to go through the hassle of taking it apart, packing it back up, and dealing with the return process. Assembly didn't go well, the included screws broke (I broke three of them, only by using a handheld screwdriver, the heads twisted right off). I ended up having to drill extra holes since the included screws broke off. Also, the instructions (the usual Chinese wordless instruction sheet) didn't put things together in the right order, so you ended up having to improvise. Parts of it are little more than cheap press board. I have my questions on whether or not it is going to last in my son's room more than a year or two.

All in all, just know you're paying $100 for a cheaply made Chinese made novelty item, not a real piece of furniture.

This toy chest is beyond amazing. I purchased for a friend who was having a baby boy and whose room was to be done in Red Sox theme. I couldnt believe the quality of this item. My husband put it together and was quite impressed. When we have kids this will definately be an item of choice!!!

This toy chest is really very cute, and solid. I paid a great price for it during the Xmas holiday, and if it is now $100.00, I'm not sure I would of paid that much for it, but it was certainly worth the price I paid. The colors are bright.The top does stay up when lifted.(safety), and it really goes nicely in a sports bedroom decor. Amazon verified purchase
