Great Book and a great bargain.,

This review is from: Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating (Paperback)
This book is as important as an airplane ticket or sunscreen when going to Cabos San Lucas or San Jose Del Cabo.I have been to this area of Baja twice before and have spent a lot of time trying to pick restaurants that would be good and safe from the hundreds of places to eat. With this book not only did we save time, we saved money and we ate like kings. The books has everything from fine dining to places with dirt floors, and all of then were safe and beyong good. They were great. In the ten days we were in Cabo we ate in 14 different places from this book. It would be worth buying this book if the price was $50 instead of $5. Buy this guide and keep it with you at all times when going to Cabo. I did, and now my clothes don't fit.

This guide provides the inside scoop on some great places to eat in Los Cabos. We knew where to go, what to expect, and had some great meals at restaurants we never would have found otherwise. It really helped make our vacation special. Definitely worth purchasing.

A required purchase for the descriminating diner,
This review is from: Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating (Paperback)
I just returned from a first time trip to Cabo and before I left I really needed a guide to walk me through the predicted array of wonderful to horrible restaurants of the region. Fortunately I stumbled upon the "Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating" ensuring a well feed vacation. I've travelled around frequently and tend to have a diverse and picky palate, and I have to say that every place I tried based on the book was as good or better in terms of food quality than the review contained in the book. Please note that the prices in Cabo have gone up considerably and it's hard to find a meal at one of the nice restaurants that doesn't cost even more than it would at home! Fortunately the authors provide many less expensive eateries for those nights that you want something simple, just be aware that in the current edition all of the price levels should be raised $5-10 per meal! (Sometimes more!) If you're going to Cabo and you don't like eating bad expensive food, buy this book today!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating (Paperback)
As someone who goes to the Los Cabos area atleast once a year for the past ten years, I had a feeling that this booklet was a listing of the authors favorite places to go, not necessarily a coverage of all area eateries. Several of my favorites were not mentioned, and the hotel restuarants were skipped over, many of which are great places to go. Even at [price], I was sorry I had spent the money.
