Like the other reviewers, I first heard Piotr playing outside the Uffizi in Florence and stood rooted to the spot - as did many others. I bought his CD, forgot to take it out of the player in my rental car when I turned it in, and for about three frustrated years was unable to find a replacement online or contact him through the website listed on his album cover. It seems to have been a language problem; Piotr apparently has now learned some English and has an English-speaking friend to help. At last I heard from him and was able to buy copies for myself and for friends - at ordinary CD prices - plus accessing videos of him playing concerts. I reached him here: Piotr Tomaszewski - classical guitarist <office@piotr-tomaszewski.com> By the time I was able to contact him, he had produced a second CD and I got both.

All extraordinary guitarists give the impression of being in love with their instruments; none more so than Piotr. As the other reviewers remark, he seems completely absorbed in his music to the point of being oblivious to his surroundings. He's playing the good stuff beautifully and I hope more music lovers will be able to acquire his CDs.

I visited Florence in October 2012 and was standing in the square near the Uffizi Museum when Piotr started playing his guitar. IMHO there is no peer to Piotr's talent. I've heard many guitarists but none play with Piotr's emotion or perfection.

I can still imagine the breeze that was blowing that night when I first heard his music. His melodies can transport you instantly.

What a treasure to bring back from Italy. I did buy both CDs he offered--titled the colors of the guitar 1 and 2.

If you are fortunate enough to hear him live, you will not be disappointed with the CDs. They are beautifully mixed. Buy both is my recommendation.

I had the pleasure of living in Florence for two months during the fall of 2004, a few blocks from the Piazza de la Repubblica, where Piotr played almost every night.
My wife and I listened to him many times; before and after grabbing an espresso at Gili's, right across where he was playing.
He played as if he was oblivious to the audience; and, frankly, it is difficult for me to imagine how someone can play Asturias many times a day, for years, and still make it sound terrific !
I bought his CD then and I shared the music with many friends, all of whom were moved by the feeling and technique of his performance.
Highly recommended.

We say Piotr Tomaszewski at the main square near the Ufizzi in Florence, Italy. He was totally absorbed in playing his guitar, seemingly unaware of the crowd that he had drawn. As he played, the noted from his guitar echoed through the square. He was selling this CD in Florence and it appears to be the only CD that is available online. I will add more info once I hear the CD.
