Los Kidz Bop is a fantastic idea, executed poorly.

-It seems they've forgotten that this is called 'Kidz Bop', as the CD opens with a rendition of Bailamos in which the children are barely even audible.

-Shakira's Whenever, Wherever is the best track on the CD. It has a driving beat and that signature Kidz Bop sound that we all love.

-Baila Baila doesn't hold a candle to the classic Los Del Rio performance, but is the second best track in the album.

-Regarding track 4, Livin La Vida Loca, I just hope the vocalist didn't quit his job as a chain-smoking dishwasher.

-A Dios Le Pido suffers from the Kidz being mixed too low! I bought Los Kidz Bop, not Los Crappy Coversongs!

-The CD then proceeds to destroy Jennifer Lopez's superlative Waiting For Tonight, I can only assume that this song is the reason that the mixer, David Gervai, has been disowned by his parents.

-Dímelo (I need to know) would make Marc Anthony spin in his grave, if only he were dead!

-The Ketchup Song is musically superb, but this masterpiece isn't really appropriate for children, since it encourages young gypsies to dance and use marijuana.

-The producers must have thought that Séra Que No me Amas means "Song that you don't love."

-I Could Fall In Love succeeded only in making me mourn the passing of Selena.

-I Like It Like That was a fantastic opportunity to create some Kidz Bop Magic, but the producer missed it... again. It's hard to believe that this is the same Balsam and Chenfield who teamed up to create Kidz Bop 8!

-Ave María is another song with so much unrealized potential that it pains me.

-I'm fairly sure they recorded I Want You by patching into a karaoke bar soundboard on dollar beer night.

-The album closes with a breathtaking rendition of Si Tu Te Vas, but it's just too sad for this album. Perhaps Razor & Tie should release Kidz Balladz.

Unfortunately, Craig Balsam and Cliff Chenfield butchered this potential masterpiece. Here's to hoping they do a better job on Kidz Bop 9 and Los Kidz Bop 2.

I don't what the hell Razor & Tie were thinking when they decided to produce this Los Kidz Bop album. Stick with the Anglo music they already produce and stop trying to capitalize on the Latino market! This album is poorly produced by a couple of "studio musicians" who don't have a clue about Latin music. The folks at Razor & Tie who chose the A&R for this album must have been smoking crack because this album is poorly produced!! Stay off the Latin music and leave it to US Latin's who know the music and the culture! Stop thinking about your pocket books! Do your homework and research next time you try to do (hopefully not) another Los Kids Bop!!

Me llamo la atencion este CD para mis hijos pero es de los peores engaños para el publico. No son los cantantes originales sino unos niños que no saben cantar y unos adultos que estan peores que los niños. Los temas que escogieron para esta coleccion no son todos apropiados para niños (ej. La Vida Loca) Mejor comprales un CD de Mozart para niños.
