Most of Michael Moore's books I would put a 10 on, and I would rate it a 10 as far as the information goes, and the cross referencing, etc. For usability, while good, its not what I would call superior.

It is a fun book to go thru and read about how another culture uses various plants and herbs. Not to mention the names they have for them, and that is one of the reasons I originally purchased the book and still pick it up and go thru it. If you like knowing the Spanish names for plants, along with the English I would highly recommend it for that purpose. Michael Moore does a wonderful job on all his books, he is another author who's books are always at the top of my list of books to buy.

Good reference, limited in size of contents but very useful information. Should be used by someone familiar with herbs.Herbs should not be used haphazardly.

Very much liked the traditional, latin and common names for each herb.

This is an extremely unique book written by one of the foremost experts of herbal medicine - specifically herbs of the southwestern United States. It is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in this topic.
