About the Author
Margot Zemach (1931-89) had the rare distinction of being selected twice as the United States candidate for the Hans Christian Andersen Award for illustration. Rita Guibert, born in Argentina, has been a journalist, a radio and film producer, and a communications consultant, and is also a writer and translator. She lives in New York City.
