Who would have ever thought that a band would make a live record in Mexico that would sound cleaner & slicker than any of their studio albums? If you are even a casual fan of Black Lips, owning this record is a must. To a new listener, I think that this would be a good place to start that won't scare you off. These guys are good - REAL GOOD.

Amazing energy. Everything else has been said...this album sounds better than all of their studio records and I'm not sure if that adds or takes away from it. Buried Alive is amazing. Wish it was longer.

I got interested in this because it was recorded by John Reis, of Hot Snakes fame, in Tijuana. I was happily surprised, like I am most times I visit Tijuana, and consequently this album hasn't left my turntable for about a year now. If you love rock and roll, this is what you've been waiting for. The ultimate party record.

A really, really, really good band that sounds like a good sixties garage punk band - surf rock, party stuff almost as classic as Louie Louie.

Wow--what a clean sound for a live album...yet still has the raw power for which Black Lips are known. Lion with Wings is eerie. I can't get Buried Alive out of my head; the chorus, with it's Peruvian-rock twist...left me craving for more.
