This CD is about 31 minutes long. 99% of that is relaxation and it only has about 4 affirmations on it. A pretty heafty price!

There was just no way to relax with this CD. Mesmer's voice is so nasal and unpleasant. Additionally, it was a very short CD, and was not worth the price. There are far better ones out there, such as "Meditation for Weight Loss" by Allen Holmquist.

After using Glenn Harrold's "Lose Weight Now" Hypnosis CD every night for several months, I was not impressed with Mesmer's. There was something about the pace and cadence of Mesmer's voice that didn't allow me to get into the flow of the hypnosis. Try Harrold's tape instead. Neither of them really tell you the logic of what you should eat and why so much as listening to the CDs leave that power of suggestion in your head so that you follow what you already know about proper nutrition. Harrold's voice really had a lasting, calming effect on my daily life in every minute of my day that Mesmer's didn't and it went far beyond the topic of weight loss. Try Harrold's "Lose Weight Now" it's like a long lasting non prescription Valium that helps destress you all day long. Hard to describe but one of the best things I ever did for myself. Mesmer's voice just doesn't do it for me like Harrold's voice--and yes, it helped me lose weight and no, I don't know why.

I have found Mesmer's CD on weight loss to be so relaxing. I feel more confident now to continue with my new outlook in approach to eating habits and lifestyle. Any one can do it if I can. I still enjoy the CD even though I've reached my weight loss goal.

I've waited awhile to write my review to see if the CD would really help me. I would give this CD a 5 out of 5 when I reach my goal, but I'm only 2/3 of the way there, so I will come back with a 5 . What I like about this CD is his voice, the calm manner and that it is only half an hour. Any longer and I would find it difficult to listen to it on a regular basis. It gives me the confidence, the entusiasm and the technique to lose the pounds I want and I've tried everything and this seems to be working for me. My goal is 30 pounds and I am between 19-20 as I write this. I've got the momentum and I know I can do it and keep it off.

I had been trying to lose weight for several years. My friends all said I look fine. But, you know when you stand in front of a mirror with nothing on and you can see the weight beginning to gather. I always seemed to rationalize an excuse for those extra little pieces. The Mesmer CD has, relaxed me, taken me on a self-confident journey to achieve the weight loss goal I have set and maintain it. I feel it was money well spent. When you are ready to honestly lose weight, then buy it.
