The thing I liked most is the fact that the author wrote this book as a "real person with real prospective". It is not a phony weight loss miracle book. Darrin Wiggins offers insight to why we are overweight, what steps we can take to overcome the emotional aspect and positive steps to a healthier life change while pointing out taking responsibility for why we may be overweight. Best of all...the human factor. We all fall off the wagon and eat that piece of cake or candy bar, but not to be self abusive. I find some of the book "common sense", but generally people can be lazy and want the extra pounds to fall off w/o any real work. He points out taking responsibility in writing down everything we eat, drink, all activities so we do not assume that that piece of candy was so innocent. So conclusion, well written, worthy of time to check out, really insightful.

I am a newly licensed personal trainer/weight loss coach, who has incorporated a lot of this book. The 17 steps in "Lose Weight Fast" is a wonderful way to learn what you need to do to lose weight. I enjoyed this book. I have been reading lots of books on this subject and I must say that this is the one that I prefer. The author propose a straight forward approach to loosing weight. The 17 steps make sense and touch all aspects of a having a successful diet plan. It tackles the emotions, the preparation and planning, what to eat, exercises, etc. Very well written book.

I do. I'm lazy, and I don't have any excuse. This is packed full of great info and GREAT ENCOURAGEMENT. I really need both. One insightful thing for me was his idea to make lists of food you hate and those you cannot do without. Hello, chocolate??? My guilt (he says guilt = fat) was tempered by the knowledge that his fav was Coke! Yikes!

After spending years struggling with his own weight, Darrin decided it was time for a change. With that began his personal journey of losing 45 pounds in 12 weeks to compete in his first natural bodybuilding competition.

Once that was complete he saw how much better he felt and while he never wore those tight posing trunks again he did discover his real passion in life. Helping others end their battle with the bulge. He knew losing weight was a lot of work but had the personal story of the difference it makes in your life to be healthy.

With so many people wanting to know what he did to lose so much weight while staying healthy, he knew it was time to chronicle the details of his diet. He wrote Weight Loss Domination Diet as his first book and as time has past he has added many more titles to his portfolio.

His passion is helping people break free from the weight loss cycle they are in. Losing weight should not be a life long event and yet many people face that exact situation for most of their lives. Always trying and always failing making losing weight a hopeless battle.

While there are hundreds of diets available to you there is only one right diet for you and hopefully by Darrin exploring as many of them as he can you will finally be at peace with your weight loss battle.

He chose to become a certified Life Coach when he realized that losing weight was as much a physical act as a psychological act. Overweight people do not lack self-control but self-love most of the time. That is when he decided it was time to author books in the personal development niche also.
