Book Description

Diet advice has been around for so long, I bet they've found cave paintings showing proper portion sizes when eating a whooly mammoth. Trust me when I tell you there is not a lot of new weight loss info out there.

The information doesn't change, but we do. We're all in different places in our weight loss journey and education. "How To Lose Weight and Get Healthy Even If You're Lazy" offers 115 ideas you may not have heard before, or that you may see in a new light now that you're further along in your journey. Of course, if you already know and practice common-sense ideas and your weight is under control, then this probably isn't the book for you which absolutely delights me. I'm all about celebrating success!

But for me, and maybe you, it's taken many years of hearing the same advice before I was ready to take action on it. And once I put simple (and sometimes obvious) lifestyle changes into practice, I got healthier and lost weight.

That's why I know you can too.

Just pick a few tips at a time to incorporate into your life. Start to make those steady, incremental steps toward good health that you can live with happily ever after. If you start today, imagine where you'll be a year from now!

Good luck and accept all my good wishes for the success you're after!

1.0 out of 5 stars A Waste of e-Ink September 25, 2011
By Becka01
Format:Kindle Edition
First off, the author giving herself five stars in a review is beyond tacky, and her 'review' should be banned by Amazon.

Secondly, the self-review would be excusable if the book were any good. Google 'diet tips' and you will find everything she has in her book. Buying this book was an unfortunate mistake.

4.0 out of 5 stars it's a dollar - c'mon February 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This book is a pretty good primer on losing weight. I can't believe people are upset because they spent a dollar on the book. If you don't want to waste hours looking around on the internet, then this book is a good way to go.

2.0 out of 5 stars save money and use common sense July 30, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I made to the first 3 pages and when she started talking about eating this instead of that.

Almond milk instead of cow's.
The author is not considerate to the reader who does not have a lot of money to restock their kitchen or
Or talks about food that I don't like.

????
Don't bother

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing new
Good advice, but it's been said before. Most of us know what to do, it's the motivation to do it that we're lacking.

More About the Author

Becky Clark was happily writing novels for teenagers when she realized her butt was slowly spreading across her chair in a very undignified manner. Stepping on the scale, she was not at all happy with that number mocking her. So she figured out how to lose that middle-aged spread without giving up her beloved chocolate, booze, or bacon ... or working too hard at it. She shares that info at http://www.LazyLowCalLifestyle.com

If you're lazy and don't like to diet you'll find kindred spirits there.

In addition to writing, she has spent time helping parents get their kids to love to read. She's adapted her workshop into an ebook full of games and ideas to turn your reluctant reader into a Reading Maniac. If you know anyone with a preschooler just learning to read or a child who doesn't like to read, check out "Reading Maniac" and see if you think it might help them.
