Losing True is a step forward from their latest album "Ten Small Paces". Nothing really new here, just more effectively executed. The songs on this EP take a while to grow on you but they are harrowing and beautiful as usual. By the way, the best album to get into Ida is "I Know About You" - a true masterpiece.

their best work to date, January 11, 1999

Ida's sound recalls the urban acoustical music of the "hoboken" scene/sound of the late 80's, with resonating harmonies and contemplative songwriting. while their previous 2 records are great, this EP represents a great leap in musical sophistication with lots of harmonies, resonating guitar work, and a variety of song structures. Set your cd player on REPEAT and enjoy....
