About the Author
Robert J. Koester received a M.S. from the university of Virginia with a specialization in neuroscience. As an author and presenter of papers and international talks on the lost Alzheimer's disease subject, he has assisted multiple agencies. He is currently conducting additional wandering research. Robert presently is president of the Virginia Search and Rescue Council, a technical instructor with the Virginia Department of Emergency Services, an instructor with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice, and on the board of directors of the Appalachian Search & Rescue Conference. He has developed SAR training programs and numerous other publications.
