Following on from 2004's The Classic Sound Of The Roomates, this CD features 30 tracks of which 11 are cover versions but, what sets The Roomates apart from all other modern doo wop groups, there are 19 original songs.
The CD has a strong Dion influence - as well as the title, the group recently backed Dion during one of his rare visits to the UK.

This review is from: Lost On Belmont Avenue (Audio CD)
I thought when I ordered this, it was the "original" Roomates of early 1960's fame. I read the liner notes and was wondering who heck was this group? This group is utterly fantastic in recreating the sound of the doo-wop/teen sound of the era. Almost every cut enchants me on my commute to and from work at my miserable place of employment. I look forward to getting in the car and going to work! Sample these cuts on Amazon and see for yourself. Worth every penny.
