This review is from: Lost Books of the Bible: Being all the Gospels, Epistles, and other Pieces Now Extant Attributed in the First Four Centuries to Jesus Christ, His Apostles and their Companions (Paperback)
All Christian mystics will rejoice in these texts - and will find a deeper relationship with their own God given purpose. If only we could turn back the clock and have the Bible rewritten - what would the world be like today? All we can hope is that people like you will read books like this and find the light.

An interesting look at those books purported to be "lost" or intentionally left out of the Bible. An interesting read.

4.0 out of 5 stars the lost books of the bible, April 20, 2000
This review is from: Lost Books of the Bible: Being all the Gospels, Epistles, and other Pieces Now Extant Attributed in the First Four Centuries to Jesus Christ, His Apostles and their Companions (Paperback)
being a chatholic, i was very intreaged at the stories and passages the the church had left out of the bible; to keep the entity of jesus christ at a pure form. There were two that i liked the most. A story of christ and joseph walking home when christ saw a young friend and wanted to race him home, apon winning christ says to the boy i will cast you down as i have been and the boy fell dead. Another story went that christ was making statues out of dirt and the boy he was playing with says you shouldn't do this on the sabath and at that christ makes the little figures that he molded come to life and strangle the boy to death. all in all this book makes the bible sound more realistic now all holy and glorified i'd recomend it to any one!
