4.0 out of 5 stars A Mixed Bag of Mostly Good Pop-Punk Songs
Useless I.D. has come a long way from their debut album, and this latest effort, which comes almost four years after their previous album, Redemption, is a natural progression in terms of their style.

Despite the emo leanings of the first two tracks ("Isolate Me" and "Killing a Ghost"), this is a pop-punk or a pop-rock record. The songs are very melodic and...

1.0 out of 5 stars Come back when you remember how to play punk rock, till then GO AWAY.
If yr a fan of the old "Useless id" then DO NOT buy this album, you will be very dissapointed.

Useless id used to be a fantastic punk band in the 90's but then they decided to go crappy, the album "Bad story happy endin" was bad enough but ever since they have just got progressively worse, this album has 1 fast song on it thats a mess anyway and the rest...

The songs are very melodic and catchy. "Give it Up" and "Mouse in a Maze" are the uptempo high points of the set. The difference on this album is that, unlike their previous works, there are no BAD songs. With less filler and more focus, these guys have refined their skills as songwriters, and as a band they sound tighter than ever. If you are a fan of the Ataris, Sugarcult, or Allister's "Blackout" album, you will love this one. It is good pop-punk with the occasional edgy, dark twist - and the lyrics have some substance to them as well - making the entire effort a winner.

4.5 stars.

Super catchy songs featuring melodic vocals and guitar riffs, this pop-punk rock band from Israel should not be missed.

Useless id used to be a fantastic punk band in the 90's but then they decided to go crappy, the album "Bad story happy endin" was bad enough but ever since they have just got progressively worse, this album has 1 fast song on it thats a mess anyway and the rest sound just like the other crap songs they've done for the last few years, Guy is a much better singer than Yotam ever could be and the rest of the band have just lost there edge completely.

I wouldnt be suprised to find them supproting MCfly in a couple of years time and partying with there 5 year old fans lol

If you really want a good useless id album then try and find "Deads not punk" or "Get in the Pita Bread Pit" they are harder to find but much more worth it than this rubbish.

(If the band read this) Come back when you remember how to play punk rock, till then GO AWAY coz im not wasting my money on anymore of your crappy pop cd's.

Once a dedicated fan but no longer.
