5.0 out of 5 stars Finding THE LOST CHORD, March 9, 2000
By
Jonathan Goldman (Boulder, Colorado) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Lost Chord (Paperback)
I have been actively engaged in the field of teaching sound as a healing and transformative modality for the last 20 years. My two other books, HEALING SOUNDS and SHIFTING FREQUENCIES, are both non-fiction. I felt it was time for an action/adventure novel about the power of sound to be made accessible to the public. Thus, the creation of THE LOST CHORD. You'll find in THE LOST CHORD, a fun and fast moving story about a spiritually skeptical guitar player named Christopher Shade, who unwittingly gets involved in mystery and intrigue. It seems a friend of Shade's has created the Lost Chord, a computer generated composite frequency that can create interdimensional gateways. It is also highly addictive. The Lost Chord gets stolen by a insane messianic musician who wants to use the Chord to take over the planet. Shade must enlist the aid of a number of beings including Charlie Singing Eagle, Native American shaman, Grandma Gladys Goodnight, his mystical teacher and Shamael, Angel of Sound, in order to successfully face his adversary and save the world. There's a lot of information about sound and the sacred within the pages of this book. But most of all, I think it's an entertaining story that everyone will enjoy. Hopefully, it will also provide some education and perhaps a bit of enlightenment as well. I received many extraordinary comments about THE LOST CHORD from readers.I trust you'll be one of these people. Please let me know how you liked this book. Currently, I'm involved in creating a CD version of THE LOST CHORD sonics--designed to create safe and gentle interdimensional travel, I assure you. We'll let you know when it's complete.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly written, January 23, 2007
This review is from: The Lost Chord (Paperback)
After seeing that James Twyman was quoted on the cover, I expected at least some insight from this book, and I did expect to receive some usable information. This book is so poorly written that if it were not sef-published, then I cannot imagine what pubisher would have ever allowed it to make it past an editor or rewriter.
