Punk like unlike most other types of music is a live thing, meaning often it is better to experience a punk band live as opposed to on record/cd. Lost City Angels hammer this point home with a vengeance. While this CD is really good and actually light years better than so called punks bands like Sum 41--nothing could prepare me for what these guys delivered live. To be frank I was speechless. The energy level that these guys delivered on stage was unmatched by anyone since I saw Neurosis in 94 and that's saying alot. I recommend the CD but more importantly see these guys live--you won't be disappointed.

I really liked this cd, and I hope to hear a lot more from this band in the future. Even if you don't really dig punk all that much, this cd is worth checking out. The only small problem that I have, and if you can call that a problem, is there songs at times are bit long. But it's not like that really matters or makes a difference on anything. It's still a great cd from a promising new band! Check it out, you won't be let down!
