Book Description

April 1998
Lost Colony is a science fiction novel that takes place in the year 2061 about the search for a missing human colony on the planet Mars. The story follows the search and rescue team as they try to unravel the mystery of the missing colonists. This is a character-driven story centering on the primary characters passions, conflicts and fears as well as their sometimes volatile and poignant interrelationships as they must confront a vast array of problems and challenges. Unidentified energy signatures, sabotage, strange accidents and phenomenon's, a blinding dust storm, a confrontation in space and a climatic one on the ground, and growing evidence that the colonists may not have been alone are just some of the events that they must contend with. It is replete with mystery, suspense, intrigue, and unbridled passion, all occurring in the vastness of space or among exotic martian vistas.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

Lost Colony is first and foremost about the people involved, not dominated by technology or wild theories on quantum mechanics. I wrote it with the intention to create a refreshingly realistic story in the way the characters interact and in how they confront their problems. Their is no exotic or junk science and no superhuman powers. The characters display genuine human emotions and weaknesses and must overcome their own deficiencies by relying on determination, intellect, and courage.
