5.0 out of 5 stars Lost Classic, July 11, 2007
This review is from: Lost Equilibrium (Audio CD)
An unheralded and vastly underrated (really, technically, unrated) classic of early Finnish death metal/progressive rock. Imagine early Amorphis jamming out with Jethro Tull and Rush and you'll begin to get the picture. This album harkens back to the time when Relapse Records was the premier underground death metal label and released a string of great but completely unnoticed albums (i.e. everything by Exit-13). Songs like Memories (relax, it's not a Streisand cover) and The New Arrival will, to quote Dan Ackroyd, "suck the paint off of your house and give your family a permanent orange afro". Translation: you'll like it.
