NOT SAM!!!,
By veep "vpolizos" (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lost (Fearless, No. 25) (Mass Market Paperback)
please! why the hell did she have to bring sam back. ts SOOO dumb. i never liked sam (well, hardly). he was always just depressing. i LOVE LOVE LOVE Gaia and Ed together, and they were working things out. Gaia doesnt even know sam as well as she knows Ed. Ed+Gaia=perfect couple. but you know what? i bet she' not going t end up with either of them. i think she'll find her best friend from her life before her mom died. He was mentioned in the first book. His name was Stephen and he nd gaia were, like, exactly alike. But SERIOUSLY Ed isperfect for her. NOT SAM? i mean, i know he died to save her (sort of), but lets not forget... he's supposed to be DEAD!! i bet hes a clone or something. if he is, it'll make me even more angry. sometimes i just want to scream. can't gaia just have a normal life (preferrably with ed!)?and to think things were finally looking up!

Lost,
By feeling the groove (Pennsylvania) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lost (Fearless, No. 25) (Mass Market Paperback)
I don't like that Sam is back. There were a few parts where I though Sam and Gaia were gonna make out. And I think Ed knows something is up but he isn't saying anything to Gaia because he loves her so much. I think Jake and Gaia should get to know each other and become friends but not the best of frieds for sure. I have to admit the book is getting boring again with Sam back in the picture. I thought Ed was going to end up asking Gaia to marry her some day and that would be so sweet.

Interesting,

This book is good, real good. The only thing that threw me off was how close Ed and Gaia were becoming and for Sam to come back looking to spark up thier love life again. Sam survived all that time in the cell, for her, Gaia. So now it wouldn't seem right for her to ignore Sam and stay with Ed, I fear guilt will bring this pair together again. I suppose Sam had come back because there needed to be a twist in the book, it was becoming sullen with Loki dead. It is still a fairly well written book and I am looking forward to the next one.

... Kicking,
By Rose (CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lost (Fearless, No. 25) (Mass Market Paperback)
If anyones missed the '... kicking' that is Gaia's life, you will not be dissapointed by this book. She pummels a few different people, on few different occasions, I think there was Four really good fight scenes in this book. Now that I think about it, in the Gaiaesque world, that isn't much is it? It's pretty good, I finished it and the book felt slightly anti-climatic. Maybe the books aren't getting to me like they used to. Don't get me wrong the happness of book number 24 lasted for about five pages, and like usual, there will be drama and trauma for probablly five more books until happness once again happens. =P well, that's how it goes in Gaia's life? You wont be dissapointed by the book, how could you be.

I wasn't sure how i felt about Sam coming back..it made everything weird but i knew he would eventually. I'm gonna feel bad for Ed because i have a feeling something is gonna happen between gaia and sam. Natasha and Tatiana are suspicious again..it's like she can't really trust anyone. It was an exciting book and i can't wait until the next one comes out!

Hmmm...,

Okay, Sam came back. You know this. But I'm starting to get a little suspicious here. If you read the book where Sam died, you would understand my dilemma over this. SAM IS DEAD. He can't be alive, and neither can Mary. Something tells me that he's like a clone or something because Sam died a few books ago. Maybe I'm just confused, but this isn't going anywhere good, plain and simple. I'm eager to read the next book, though.

I was so glad to see Sam back. I don't know what is wrong with y'all, why you like Ed so much better, Sam has always been the best! I was so sad when he died, and now I hope he and Gaia will be together again. I can't wait for #26!

Why Oh Why?,

This is a great book. It is well written (waaay superior to books like #20 for example) and it does not go around in circles like some previous books and instead zooms forward like Ed riding his skateboard but it's heading toward a big brick wall. That brick wall is poor, poor ex-prisoner Sam. Poor Sam! All day he dreams of Gaia to keep him sane in his cold little prison. Then one day he escapes. Why Oh Why did he have to escape?! What with all Sam went through at the hands of Gaia's Evil Uncle Loki Gaia's got to be feeling pretty guilty. Esspecially since she and Ed were getting all lovey dovey and smoochy while Sam was rotting away not knowing if he was ever going to be saved, probably thinking he was going to be in there till he was an old man with rotted teeth and white hair.If I could reach in the book and grab Gaia. I would shake and shake her and scream: You do not have to get back with Sam! Guilt should not chain you to this [person] who was so stupid he kept breaking up with Heather and getting back together with Heather, breaking up with Heather and getting back together with Heather and then, and then sleeping with your evil adopted mom! Oh and dumping you on your doorstep when you were knocked out cold and totally defenseless because he was to afraid to face Ella!! I am crossing my fingers and toes and praying that the next book does not take a turn in that direction.

Not bad, but...,

'Lost' is definately an improvement over #23 Fear, and a couple of the previous volumes. I skipped #24 (Betrayed), and read this one first because I found it at the library. I was surprised! Read this book for yourself, and you be the judge. |
