Lost and Found is an amazing album. I had been hearing about Deitrick Haddon for a while but I never purchased his products even though I enjoyed his music. But after my mom and I heard Deitrick singing on TBN one Friday night my mom went out the next day and purchased the album on cassette. And I just kept playing the album over and over. But after I heard it I told my brother, who's not totally committed to living for God, about Deitrick and we went out the same day to purchase the album on compact disc. My brother was really encouraged by this album. I encourage people to get the album and tell other people about the album. It will truly bless you. There were times when my mom and I would be feeling down and depressed and we would just play the album and instantly our spirits were alive again. Truly Deitrick is an artist that the world can not ignore. Even today I may have played the album about 1,000 times and counting. I know that I will have to purchase another copy of the album because it is well worth it!!!!

the first time hearing haddon, a friend of mine did a praise dance to it. i loved the song (Sinners prayer) and asked him who it was by. He told me and recommeded this cd. I love every song on this disk but the songs that stand out to me are "this happiness, lost and found part 2, anyhow, changed man, and resting place. the R&B beats are great and the lyrics are awesome..... listen to this cd, i love this guy!!!

I absolutely love this CD!! Many people in the gospel world has slept on Deitrick Haddon for years because he wasn't on a major label, but now that he's on Verity, he should get the recognition he rightfully deserves. The thing that I love about Deitrick is the wide variety of styles that he can use, and he does it so effectively with this CD. He's got R&B grooves in such songs as "Ain't Got Nothing", "Sinner's Prayer", and "Changed Man", and songs with latin flava such as "Praises Go Up" and "Resting Place (an extremely intimate ballad to God that happens to be one of my favorite cuts on the album)." He also has a couple of songs such as "It's Me (another one of my favorites)" and "Lost and Found". He's also got one or two piano ballads where Deitrick's incredible vocals soar. And of course, Deitrick has the hip-hop element in the album with such songs as "Oh Yeah" and "Wanna Dance" which have such tight beats that you have no option but to move!!

So what's the bottom line........ BUY THE CD!! IT'S ONE OF THE HOTTEST CD'S OF THE YEAR!

I saw Deitrick Haddon for the first time on TBN a couple of weeks ago and I likeed his style and I called a couple of people and told them to turn to TBN. Until then I had never heard of Deitrick Haddon but I knew then that he was definetly something special. While finishing up my Christmas shopping in a bible bookstore I saw the CD Demo and decided to listen to some of the tracks. I fell in love then so I bought it. I am listening to it now for the second time and I can honestly say that I really like this CD. It is so full of flavor. I really like the fact that the style of the music varies. I love this CD and I encourage anyone who is thinking of buying this CD don't think BUY!! My favorite tracks are "After While" and "Stand Still" and of course I can't leave out the Praise Party "Wanna Dance". Good Job Deitrick. I'm Hooked!

Before I attempt to give reason for my hefty claim about 'Lost&Found', I'd like to say that Im usually pretty open, yet very critical about the music that I listen to. Deitrick Haddon my have put together the greatest R&b style Gospel album for a SOLO artist ever. For those who have never heard of him, Deitrick Haddon (aka D. Haddy) is a 'drop to you knees' 'tell it like it is' soulful singer who's caught up in a love affair with God and family. Listening to his album is as if R.kelly had given up his current ways and had been purified in Christ. 'Lost and Foud' starts out with a upbeat and clever introduction into D.D.'s world (tracks 1&2), then takes you onward with a track featuring Fred Hammond and BB Jay (track 3). From this point on he takes you on a musical journey that one can feel, speaking about a variety of things from how he overcame his own sinful past to materialism and true love (and everything in between). At the end of this 19 track masterpiece, Deitrick shows us how he has fun in Praise in "wanna Dance". Very rarely does great messege/story telling meet great instrumentation, but in this case it did. This album is an Urban Gospel Classic and well worth the listen.

Thank the Lord for an anointed man of god who keeps it spiritual,yet live and in your face. I think Detrick has really and truly exposed what's going on, and despite what's is going on in this day and time, he is still singing his song.I like the songs, "D.D, Oh Yeah, Changed, Sinner's Prayer. In Oh Yeah, I feel Detrick is trying wake up his brothers and sisters in Christ and he's telling them, "GET Up!" "Quit being passive!" God had giving you dominion over every living thing. Just because others are doing what they want to do don't mean you have to do it too. God saved you too! If you know him for yourself and don't need nobody else, If someone asks you if you are down with christ you say, "OH YEAH!". The beats and empathetic, thought provoking lyrics to his songs are slammin' and sick with it. From " The glory of the Lord" to "Changed", Detrick Haddon's goal and his message is pretty much the same, but he does it in Jesus Name!! Detrick Haddon is truly on fire for Christ and he behooves me even to do the same ....that is, "GET CRUNK FOR CHRIST!"

YOU HAVE TO GET THIS ONE, YOU HAVE TO GET THIS ONE, YOU HAVE TO GET THIS ONE......WERE HAVE I BEEN. THIS GOD ANOINTED, TALENTED AND ELECTRIFYING BROTHER DELIVERS. I CAN NOT BELEIVE WHAT I HAVE BEEN HEARING. FROM THE YOUNG AND THE OLD, AND IN BETWEEN. FROM THAT HIP HOP FLAVORED OH YEA, WITH FRED HAMMOND AND B.B. JAY, TO THE SLOW GOSPEL ORIENTED STAND STILL, WITH PASTOR DONNY McCLURKIN. THIS BROTHER EVEN HAS GRAND-MA ON HIS SONG. AND YOU CAN HEAR HIS INTENSITY AS HE BANGS HIS FIST ON AFTER WHILE. AND FOR THE MUSICIAN WHO LOVES FUNKY BASS LINES, CHECK OUT THE TITLE TRACK. LOST AND FOUND. I AM SUPRISED THAT MORE BLACK GOSPLE RADIO DOES NOT HAVE DEITRICK HADDON ON THIER PLAYLIST. HIS LYRICS ARE FOR REAL. YOU CAN FEEL THAT THIS BROTHER WAS LOST, AND NOW HE IS FOUND. DEITRICK, GOD BLESS YOU, STAY PRAYERFUL...................... THIS BROTHER IS TRULY SAVED.

I dont care what anyone says, this cd is wonderful! We are all sinners whether we're saved or not and the song "sinners prayer" really touched my soul. I love just about every song on this cd and it brings me joy every day on the way to work when I'm feeling down. Props to Deitrick Haddon, this is the best cd I've ever heard in my life!!! And for whoever made that comment, the song De De talks about his life and how he came to singing gospel and still glorifies God saying "Now I'm doing it in Jesus' name", "Spread the love of Jesus Christ and watch his power change peoples lives" and many other things in the song. This cd is empowering, uplifting, and I recommend this song to any and every one I know.

The first time I ever heard of Deitrick Haddon at all was two months ago while listening to one of my favorite gospel radio programs who played God's and Deitrick's, "A Sinner's Prayer." I believe I was gifted with an ear for music and when I heard this young man belting out his annointing from God I stopped what I was doing and started listening to the lyrics which made me realize that this is what I needed to hear. A fresh annointed voice testifying from his experiences in life that were similiar to my own. I needed that encouragement and acknowledgement from our Father which let me know that he loves us no matter what. I purchased the CD, and I think I played it for a solid half-day all evening long, over and over. Then I put "A Sinner's Prayer" on repeat for almost thirty minutes before I retired for the night. It's been amost two months, and I've missed only a few days, but I am right back at it, and I can truly say that I did miss it. Even though "A Sinner's Prayer" is my favorite, I love them all. I can really relate with all of what this young annointed "Minister of Music," is saying. I send my heart-felt gratitude and blessings to Minister Haddon, and I thank him for his music. You really keep my arthritic bones limber. Thank you and "Many Blessings."

I am so hooked on this CD,I can't wait to buy the other seven. I can play this CD over and over again. Words cannot explain the annointing this man has. When I listen to Resting Place, I just get lost in this song, it seems like I just totally relate. I can constantly play it and never get tired of it. I even fall asleep listening to this CD, it's the only CD I've played in my car since I bought it. I ride down the street blasting his music. While others are blasting P-Diddy I'm blasting D-Haddy in Jesus Name. I knew I had to buy this CD when I heard Sinner's Prayer and OH Yeah!! another absolute favorite. Deitrick's music is definitely my style, lifting up Jesus name with a groovin' beat. Before I got saved, I was gettin' my dance on in the world, now I'm gettin' my dance on for Jesus. I'm gonna check out Damita Haddon as well. I heard "Life" on the radio, so her new CD is a must buy. If you're thinking about buying Lost and Found, think no more...get it NOW!! You will not be disappointed, every song is off the hook!
