John Long is the "real thing"! He has amazing technique, style and heart, and he will blow you out of your seat!
Muddy Waters proclaimed Long to be "the best young country blues artist playing today." If you like Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Robert Night Hawk, Skip James, Homesick James, and traditional blues style playing and singing, you will love this CD!

If you are an acoustic blues fan, this is as good as it gets. I have dozens of simular CDs, but this knocks all other palyers out of the game.
Order a copy ASAP, happiness is as close as your mailbox. EXCELLANT!!!!

The music on this record is absolutely timeless and John Long somehow keeps the century old country blues as fresh as ever. Long's guitar skills and deep-throated singing are perfectly suited to his music. It's truly a shame that John Long has gone so long without being recorded, as this is his official debut album. Long brings the blues straight back to its roots and never has the music sounded more powerful. Highly recommended for any fan of roots or blues music.
