I know Captain Tom personally and I practically watched him write this book. Having read the original before it was published; I think I can honestly say that this is a great read. Captain Tom poured his years of knowledge of the local waters, experience and love for adventure into his book. I am sure everyone will enjoy Tom's work. Captain Tom is a very passionate and highly intelligent individual who loves adventure. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading sea adventures and no one can tell South Florida stories like Captain Tom can.

I could not put the book down !! I had to read, read, read til the last page! The laundy can wait....the vaccuming can wait.....eat what you can find....dinner can wait! It was my mantra for a few days while I read this fantastic story....My mind is still busy with the story days after the book was finished! I cannot wait to see it on the screen....I will be first in line in my neighborhood!! I want more......keep the excitment alive ! !

I have met Tom on Marco and was privileged to be given a copy of this book before it was published. It is an excellent first novel and I hope that he has enormous success with it and anything else he writes.

I read this book three times and can't wait to see the movie. If you like mystery, suspense, drama and a little foreplay this is your book. Every bit as intelligent as Elmore Leonard and as fun to read as Carl Hiaasen! Excellent read, highly recommended!!

Wow, what a book! I didn't know anyone could pack that much action into one book - I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. This book is a must-read for anyone who loves suspense and adventure - no disappointments there. All I kept thinking as I was reading it was it would make one hell of a great movie - I will be first in line for tickets when this happens. Mr. Williams' maritime background really helped make the story authentic - hope there is a sequel that includes these two brilliant but comical Englishmen. Kudos to Mr. Williams for a terrific read!

What a page turner!! High adventure, beautifully developed characters, intense plot. I can see this book winning many first-time-author awards. Come to think of it Lost and Found could well be a block buster movie.

Longtime friend Tom Williams has written a compelling undersea adventure novel with an exciting plot twist. A pure joy to read.

I think most of the reviewers here have covered it pretty well but I wanted to say one other thing. Not only did I enjoy the read but I was so impressed with the research and character development that I was amazed that this was a first novel. I hope Tom continues to publish, I will be in line for each new book!

Ship wrecks and sunken treasure seems to be one of the hottest topics in the world today and Tom William's new book, Lost & Found, is just about that -- finding sunken treasure at the bottom of the ocean! It is an awesome read, a heart-beating page-turner at its best, but more importantly, the type of book that stays on your mind for weeks, even months to follow. Kinda like a classic movie. If you are not interested in searching for treasure at the bottom of the ocean, by the time you have finished this book, you will be. You will be fascinated by the technology used to find these sunken treasures, and what baffles me most is why on earth hasn't NASA already come up with this simple solution, because Tom Williams has, and when they finally take his idea and run with it, I sure hope he gets the credit he deserves. I expect to see a movie on this sometime soon. Brilliant read!

Author, Tom Williams, uses his knowledge as a diver and long time member of the merchant marines to bring you a very believable tale of a maritime treasure hunt. The story starts in a corporate setting that has elements of greed and treachery and ends with a murder and then moves to sea in Florida and then on to Turkey. In what at times seems an unbelievable quest and series of adventures the characters and the authors attention to detail keep things real. There is romance thrown in with a female salvage captain that joins them in Florida in their quest for hidden treasure. While there are no real pirates there is no shortage of bad guys. Just when you think you have the plot figured out it embarks on another twist and keeps you guessing until the end which will come quickly as this book is easy to read and hard to put down. [close]
