This is agreat album of early seventies british funk by session musicians who had played in and went on to play in popular bands. The drummer the late Charlie Charles went on to play in Typically Tropical (Whoa Im going to Barbados) and then Ian Durys Blockheads. The singer Aliki Ashman had sung with Ginger Bakers Airforce the bass player Micky Feat went on to play with Van Morrison, the guitarist singer Barry Clarke was in a band called Trees ( In the garden of jane trelawney). I know all this as I was their roadie and worked with them in 1974 and onwards and when they toured England with Love and Arthur Lee in 1974. Unfortunately Rocket records who had backed them and made the album failed to release it in U.K. so eventually the band folded. Great shame but a very good funk album but not as good as seeing them live.
