Book Description

Darkness threatens all the lands once more...

Geltharin looked out over the hills before them. "I wonder what they are waiting for?"

As if in answer, several brazen horns sounded from beyond the hills. Men and Elves raced back and forth, preparing for another charge, while Geltharin and Delphine braced themselves.

Over the hills two large shapes came lumbering into view. They had the appearance of Men, yet they were at least six spans tall, and they carried huge clubs upon their shoulders. It was hard to tell weather they were clad in gray, or if that was the color of their skin, yet it was no mistaking what they were.

"Stone Giants," breathed Delphine.

Behind the Giants the ranks of the Gremlins crowded, as if behind great siege engines. Geltharin blenched watching them. "Yes, and they do not appear to be on our side."

"How are we supposed to fight them?" Delphine asked, her eyes fastened upon the huge shapes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Action packed fantasy, January 6, 2009
This review is from: The Lost Gate (Paperback)
From start to finish, it is a roller coaster ride of adventure.

This book, starts in the middle of a war in a renaissance setting. Was very happy with the well written battles, romance, and bits of comic relief.

The writer has a well thought out tale here well worth the sit!
