5.0 out of 5 stars SHYHEIM DOES IT AGAIN
SHYHEIM DOES IT AGAIN.....HE CAME BACK WITH A HOT ALBUM. I THINK THIS IS STRICTLY FOR WU TANG HEADS AND CATS FROM BROOKLYN (BROOKLYN ARTISTS' SMOOTHE DA HUSTLER AND HIS BROTHER TRIGGER THE GAMBLER ARE FEATURED ON THIS ALBUM).BUT ANYONE CAN ENJOY THIS ALBUM IF THEY LIKE TRUE HIP HOP. 3.0 out of 5 stars Lost...
This disc is nothing compared to his first album. Production wise this LP is... meh... and that's the problem. Lyrically Shyheim grew and his voice deepened, but lack luster beats make this album hardly worth repeating. Probably the reason for the such blah production has to do with Shyheim merging with Noo Trybe, which is known for acts like Scarface, Luniz, Big Mike...

AND ONCE AGAIN, RZA PRODUCES THE LAST TRACK ON THE ALBUM WHICH FEATURES MADMAN(AKA 9TH PRINCE)AND KILLA SIN(BOTH FROM KILLARMY)AND RUBBABANDZ(FROM GP WU). THIS IS A HOT ALBUM. COP IT.

5.0 out of 5 stars On another level, January 19, 2006
This review is from: Lost Generation (Audio CD)
This kid seems like he is just on another level of rap. The album is perfect from the beats to the lyrics. The production is just right, none of the beats control the album shyheim takes care of everything. When you hear him rap it's like he's explaining his life and times and the beats explain his emotions and he keeps it raw and real. He has a unique voice, his lyrics and delivery are both on point even though his voice isn't deep it still captures your attention. I agree with the last reviewer this is the type of album that is so smooth it can put you to sleep. Shyheim goes hard on every track and he brings you a perfect album that you need to have in your collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars SOMEONE FROM MY GENERATION STANDING FIRM WITH THE WU, October 25, 2005

Shyheim came out in 93/94 and this album (his second) came out in 96 and I have to say I was very impressed. This album unlike his first although it was still good also sounds like a wu album, with darker production finally some tracks produced by Rza the rest produced by the same people that did the first it delivers on being a great headnodder.
Shyheim despite his age at the time is very good on the mic and it is easy to understand why he was given membership to the Wu-Tang Clan.

This ranks as one of the best wu affiliated albums around and I recommed that if you are a fan of the wu or you just like good hip hop you shoud give this a try.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Illmatic AND Ready To Die, July 18, 2009
This review is from: Lost Generation (Audio CD)
Words cannot express how much I love this album. Its perfectly flawless. I even think the cover is dope. I've been bangin this album for years and i'm still vibin to it. It has 14 tracks and contains no skits/intro/outro. Every track is pure, beautiful, melodic, expressive, raw hip-hop. I think he poured his heart and soul into this one. I read a review that said his first solo album was better but I wasn't really feeling that album, this one was a lot better. He just released a new joint called Disrespectfully Speaking (As of Summer 09) which I would also recommend. But this is his best work. So do yourself a favor and cop it.
